PlotTwo college students (Sunil Dutt and Nutan) are getting married. Since both were talented students, their college holds a little function for them. After the function, they head for their honeymoon through a road passing through a small hamlet. Their car breaks down, they stop for a while and suddenly the hero starts having visions. He asks local people about certain landmarks of the village; landmarks the couple wouldn't have known since they were destroyed years before they were even born.
While trying to find the explanation, the couple realize that their story starts well before their birth dates. Milan is a story of two lovers killed tragically in a past life and reunited where it all started.
